Cycling and Mountain Biking

Cycling and mountain biking has become indisputably a very important branch of summer tourism. For this very reason the Ötztal Valley decided a few years ago to massively improve the infrastructure:- well signpost bike trails, excellently prepared downhill trails, adaptation of mountain cable cars and public transport to transport mountain bikes, network of E-bike re charging stations etc.

In order to meet the increasing enthusiasm of cyclists and mountain bikers, various businesses have restructured and sports shops have specialised in the "bike" offer. The Ötztal Valley has now become the number 1 “Two Wheel” destination in the alps.

Rafting & Canyoning - for beginners as well as for adrenaline junkies!

Rafting and canyoning, also known as gorge hiking, is no longer considered a marginal sport. On the contrary, more and more guests are getting excited about the outdoor activity of "white water".

When rafting, through the Imst Gorge (Tyrol's most frequented stretch), you can get a taste of white water adrenaline with highly trained guides. Discover the fascination for yourself. On the Tösener Gorge or the Ötztaler Ache, this fascination becomes a real challenge and sporting pleasure at a higher level of difficulty.

Likewise, you can experience different levels of difficulty when canyoning. Changing your perspective on nature often means seeing things from below. For example, you experience nature from a 40-metre-deep gorge in all its beauty in a completely different way when you hike through it. Sliding down naturally formed water slides into the next deep pool below is huge fun and a sporting treat.
